QMU Scholarships
The University usually has a number of scholarships available for September and January start courses. We are pleased to offer up to 15 competitive scholarships of £2,000 each for new international students undertaking their first year of study on an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in the academic year beginning September 2012. The scholarship is granted as a reduction of the tuition fee and is available to students who are self-funding with an international tuition fee of more than £8,000 for a single year of study only. Applications can be made by students who have received an offer of a place of study at the University. The application form can be downloaded here. Please note that the application deadline for 2012 is 5pm on 1 June 2012. If you wish to be considered for the early allocation of scholarships, your application should be with us no later than 5pm on 30 March 2012.
Santander Scholarships
Queen Margaret University is pleased to announce that a limited number of Santander Scholarships will be available in 2012, up to the value of £5,000. Applications can be made by students who have received an offer of a place of study at the University. Application forms can be downloaded here. The application deadline for 2012 is 5pm on 1 June 2012.
A small number of awards are also available for continuing students.
Please note that if you have already applied for a QMU Scholarship, we will also consider you for a Santander Scholarship and vice versa - there is no need to re-apply or to apply for both.
Scotland's Saltire Scholarships
These awards are jointly funded by Queen Margaret University and the Scottish Government. Awards worth £2,000 each are available for Canadian, Chinese, Indian and US students studying on full time programmes at QMU. The scholarships are granted as a reduction of the tuition fee payable by the student for any one year of your programme.
Eligible applicants should complete a scholarship application which can be found by clicking on the "how to apply" section of the Talent Scotland website.
The Saltire Scholarships can be for any one year of a students course, it must be for an international student coming into the country i.e. not given to those already here for and looking to continue for another year.
Tullow Group Schoalrships
The University is participating in the Tullow Group Scholarship Scheme that aims to build capacity in areas where Tullow’s host countries experience significant skills gaps. The Scheme is part of Tullow’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme (referred to as Social Enterprise (SE)) which aims to contribute to long-term socio-economic development in countries where we operate.
The Scholarships are open to students from Ghana , Uganda, Gabon, Cote D’Ivoire, Kenya, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Mauritania and French Guiana who have applied to QMU for the following programmes:
Pg Cert Public Services Management
MBA
MBA Hospitality Management
MSc International Management and Leadership
MSc International Management and Leadership with Hospitality

Jubilee Scholarships are aimed at fresh graduates or young professionals with excellent academic record. Deserving candidates who would not normally have the opportunity to study overseas are strongly encouraged to apply. The applicants must be:
An Indian national with a valid Indian passport
A graduate with an excellent academic track record
Should have applied for admission to a Masters course (for no more than 12 months duration) at a UK institution. The course of study should be in the subject areas of Management, Manufacturing or Science & Technology
